Tommy Seidl is a fleet-footed, multi-positional player who brings three years of Ivy League baseball experience to his first season with the Lightning.
A gifted athlete, Seidl lettered in football, basketball and baseball during his time at St. Sebastian’s School in Massachusetts. Additionally, he was named team captain of all three sports his senior year of high school.
Tommy didn’t travel far from his home in Wellesley, MA to continue his educational and baseball endeavors at Harvard University. As a member of the Crimson’s baseball club the past three seasons, he appeared in a total of 65 games, collecting six extra base hits and putting together a solid .341 on-base percentage.
Seidl’s strong outfield arm should be a key part of the Lightning’s defense.
