In 2024, Jenkins earned All-Sun-Lakes Conference First Team honors and was named to the FCSAA/Region 8 DII Baseball Gold Glove Team as a shortstop at Lake Sumter State College (NJCAA D-1). He posted a .383 batting average with 75 hits, 40 RBIs, 35 walks, and a .506 OBP. Jenkins also earned recognition as a NJCAA DII All-FCSAA/All-NJCAA Region 8 Infield selection and was named the 2024 team MVP at the Hawkspys Awards. At Florida Southern College (NCAA D-2 Sunshine State Conference) in 2023, he played in 33 games and batted .235 with 2 home runs, 12 RBIs, and 19 runs. At Carson-Newman University (NCAA D-2 South Atlantic Conference) in 2025, Jenkins batted .264 with 52 hits, 39 RBIs, and 4 home runs in 52 games. Jenkins hit .299 for the Leesburg Lightning in 2024, finishing with 26 hits and 10 RBIs in 30 games From Winter Haven, Fla. Returns for a second season with Leesburg.
