Jesse Hall, who is a Tallahassee, Fla. native, brings a high level of play to the Lightning this season. He currently attends Troy University, which is a Division I team that plays in the Sun Belt Conference.

In his first complete season at Troy, Hall showcased his skills at the plate and on the diamond, hitting .281 and while crossing home plate 24 times. Hall also excelled on the left side of the infield, finishing a busy season with a .909 fielding percentage. Along with his ability to consistently make contact,Hall flashed some power ,sending two balls over the wall.

Before transferring to Troy, Hall tore it up at Lurleen B Wallace Community College. As a sophomore, he hit .317, homered nine times, and drove in 46 runs.

Hall is college teammates with Clay Stearns and Beau Fletcher.
