Collin Teegarden is an infielder in playing his first season with the Lightning, and he brings three seasons of college ball experience to the table.
Prior to his transfer to Valdosta State University, he put in two solid seasons at Lake Sumter State College. In 93 games for the Lake Hawks, Teegarden put up numbers congruous with a top of the order batter, with a .438 OBP and 43 stolen bases in 46 tries to go along with six home runs and 52 RBI.
In a shortened 2020 season with Valdosta State, Collin made six appearances and collected a trio of walks, a run scored and a stolen base in his 14 trips to the plate.
