Patton, a junior at Dallas Baptist, appeared in 10 games last summer for the Lightning, finishing with a total of 13 innings pitched. He finished a record of 1-0, with an ERA of 6.23 and a WHIP of 1.77. Over the course of his time with the Lightning, he struck out five batters and issued eight base-on-balls. Patton did not pitch this past spring for Dallas Baptist.
