Beau Fletcher, from Hartselle, Alabama, joins the Lightning for his first season in the FCSL.

Fletcher, who is a pitcher for Troy University, brings Division I experience to the Lightning. As a redshirt Freshman, he did not appear in a game for the Trojans this season.

Fletcher was an intriguing prospect entering high school, ranking as the 38th overall player out of Alabama and the 16th overall right handed pitcher, A strikeout artist, Fletcher fanned 155 batters over 102 innings his junior and senior seasons at Hartselle High School. He was named to the Rawlings Perfect Game Preseason Underclassmen All-American Team three times (2017-19).

Fletcher is college teammates with Clay Stearns and Jesse Hall.
