A five-tool player out of Sarasota, Fla., Vaun Brown joins the Lightning for his FCSL debut.

Brown cleaned up this past season for Florida Southern, slashing an absurd .387/.462/.793/1.255 with 13 homeruns. He led the Moccasins in hits, batting average, slugging, OPS, runs (40), RBI (31), homeruns, and stolen bases (9-11). On top of that, he led the conference in runs, hits and homers. For his efforts, he was named the Sunshine State Conference Player of the Year and made both the All South Region first team and the NCAA Division II All-American Second Team.
