Jaelin Sewell is a dual-threat southpaw pitcher and first baseman in his first season with the Lightning.

Sewell began his college baseball journey at Chattahoochee Valley Community College in Alabama and struck out 6 batters in 2.2 frames. The next season, the Georgia native transferred to Seminole State and continued his penchant of missing bats by retiring 12 on strikes in 11.2 innings.

After this summer, he will begin his first season as a member of the Marshall University Thundering Herd.
