She participated in student media where she was a sports reporter and sports editor at the Auburn Plainsman. She was also a photography intern at Auburn Athletics and covered minor league and professional baseball for BaseballEssential.com. Her hometown is Eufaula, Alabama. Emily hopes to become an MLB scout or an SID for a college or professional baseball program.
